Nakijin Village

A sturdy Gusuku (castle) inscribed with the history of the Ryukyu Kingdom, a World Heritage site.
One of the "Gusuku Sites and Related Properties of the Kingdom of Ryukyu," a World Heritage site, these are the ruins of the castle of the Hokuzan King who once ruled northern Okinawa Island. The beautifully curved castle walls are considered particularly robust and beautiful among Okinawan Gusuku. From the high ground, you can overlook the East China Sea, enjoying historical romance and a superb view simultaneously. It is also famous for its Hikanzakura (Taiwan cherry blossoms).
Kouri Beach

Heart Rock and a stunning bridge, swimming at the island of love.
Located on Kouri Island, connected to Okinawa Island by Kouri Ohashi Bridge, this is a popular beach. The highly transparent sea and white sandy beach are beautiful, perfect for swimming and marine sports. Tinu Beach, with its heart-shaped rock "Heart Rock" made famous by commercials, is also nearby and bustling with tourists. The view from Kouri Ohashi Bridge is also spectacular.
