At Kanucha Resort, we offer dedicated guest rooms where you can stay with your beloved dog (e.g., Dog-Friendly Rooms in the Magnolia Wing). The rooms are fully equipped with amenities for your dog (cage, toilet sheets, food bowls, etc.). From the balcony, you can gaze upon the beautiful scenery of the Yanbaru greenery or the golf course, creating a space where your dog can also relax. Here, you can fully soothe the loneliness of being left at home.

An Endless Playground to Explore Together

Boasting a vast site of approximately 800,000 tsubo (approx. 2.64 million sqm), Kanucha Resort is the ultimate playground for your dog. With a leash firmly attached, you can take a walk together along the resort's promenades and garden areas (some areas are restricted). Strolling along a lush green path in the refreshing morning air, or taking a slow walk along the beach feeling the sea breeze at dusk—your dog is sure to delight in this new environment. We also provide a dedicated dog foot-washing area and water station within the resort.

Crafting Shared Moments: Pet-Friendly Activities

At Kanucha Resort, we also cherish the time you can enjoy with your beloved dog. For example, at our cafes with open terraces (e.g., Famigo), you can enjoy tea time with your dog at a terrace seat while on a leash (Note: Please confirm in advance and adhere to the rules). Furthermore, the dog-run area that utilizes the vast grounds and the beach critériosin front of the Grand Bleu Chapel are also recommended places to spend time with your dog. There are restrictions on the size, breed, and number of dogs that can stay. Stay Conditions

・Only small to medium-sized dogs that are normally kept indoors, weighing 12kg or less, and are 6 months of age or older are permitted to accompany you.

・Dogs must be well-trained, not engaging in nuisance barking, jumping on people, or biting.

・Up to two dogs per room are permitted to stay. An additional fee of 6,000 JPY per night will be charged for the second dog.

・Dogs must have received rabies and combination vaccinations more than 2 weeks but less than 1 year prior to your stay. You will be required to present vaccination certificates at check-in.

・Dogs must be free from infectious diseases and have been treated for fleas, ticks, and other parasites.

・Female dogs that are in heat (for 4 weeks from the start of their cycle) or pregnant are not permitted to stay.

・In other cases, we may refuse to accommodate dogs that are likely to cause a significant disturbance to other guests or dogs.

Notes and Requests During Your Stay

・When moving within the resort, please be sure to use your own carrier case and leash. We do not provide rental carrier cases or leashes.

・Only the registered guest representative should complete the check-in/check-out procedures. Dogs are not permitted in the front lobby.

・Please do not bring your dog to areas other than those designated as pet-friendly.

・Please do not allow your dog on the beds or sofas.

・Please bring your own dog food, treats, toys, belly bands, diapers, etc. These items are not sold at the resort.
